Corporate PetroCup WRM Team Championship for Employees of Gazprom Neft Group Subsidiaries

On November 25–27, 2025 the sixth Corporate PetroCup Championship on oil and gas field development management was held, organized by Nafta College together with the Geology and Field Development function of Gazpromneft Science & Technology Centre. This year, 110 participants competed, forming 12 multidisciplinary teams from 11 subsidiary companies.

The winners were:

1st place — Engineering and Technology Service LLC
2nd place — Gazpromneft Science & Technology Centre (Integrated Solutions Division)
3rd place — Gazpromneft Orenburg LLC

This year’s Championship was truly unique:

• The teams that took 1st and 2nd place scored the same record number of points — 78 — and delivered almost identical results;
• Both teams reached category A+ (“Brilliant”);
• The team with the 3rd highest result (60 points) earned category A (“Excellent”).
  
  

All these teams are now included in the PetroCup Hall of Fame — a list of the best Russian and international subsurface users since 2018.

Following tradition, the Prime Bot team from Polykod — an innovative AI-based development — also participated in the Championship. The result is impressive: 4th place, a significant improvement compared to 2024–2025, confirming the positive growth and advancement of this technology!
