WRM Field Development Course | Gazprom Neft

Nafta College held the another field development course for the Gazprom Neft team in Noyabrsk city from November 7-11.

This course was a part of the "Education Program for Geology and Field Development Department," a collaboration program between Gazprom Neft and Nafta College. The programme was introduced as part of the large project to provide educational and practical modules for specialists from Gazprom Neft and its subsidiaries in field development planning and management using PetroCup simulator. The goal of the educational program is to assess team abilities and improve the expertise of each specialist of Geology and Field Development Department.

Members from four Gazprom Neft subsidiaries participated in the WRM training course: Gazpromneft-Khantos, Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz, Tomskneft VNK, Gazpromneft STC.

The course included theory lectures, simulator exercises, and a collaborative review of tutorial cases. Throughout the session, this educational course was evaluated for later use in knowledge assessments and the development of team expertise.

As part of the course, Gazprom Neft team receive a wide range of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in Nodal Analysis, forming FDP including production, waterflood, monitoring field development, economic assessments, budgeting, contracting and managing surface facilities, forming annual FDP, planning production target, planning surveillance, workovers and more.

The course was led by Vladimir Krichevsky, a lead expert and lecturer at Nafta College.

Based on the positive feedback from course participants, it is possible to draw conclusions about the effectiveness and relevance of this 5-day training and practical educational course, Gazprom Neft stated that it meets all the corporate needs and is capable to successfully solve a wide range of corporate challenges such as assessing the team knowledge and supports skills improvement at Gazprom Neft.
