Top three PWSO 2022 Finalists | Sultan Qaboos University
On January 4, Nafta College hosted an award ceremony for Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) team, which received the Bronze Trophy at the
PetroCup World Student Olympics 2022 | Finals.
Dr. Artur Aslanyan, Rector of Nafta College and the founder of the PetroCup World Student Olympics, attended the award ceremony in person to congratulate the team.
Even though the SQU team only started competing in PWSO two years earlier, it has already achieved excellent results, and was going head-to-head with the Silver Trophy team.
Dr. Rashid, The Head of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Department (College of Engineering), who is also a Dean of the Faculty, Vice-Rector and Youth Affairs Manager attended the event to show support to their team.
We hope that during PWSO 2023, teams from other universities in this region will be able to visit this absolutely gorgeous university and compete face-to-face in the next finals.
