Devon (Iran) claims victory at the 2021 PetroCup Middle East Gulf League

November 29-30 marks the start of the second international student tournament - 2021 PetroCup Middle East Gulf League.

Initially planned as a 10 league tournament, but due to the current ongoing pandemic only 3 countries have managed to join.

The event was held online, with over 20 students across 3 universities: Sultan Qaboos University (Oman), University of Lagos (Nigeria), Sharif University of Technology (Iran).

It was a fairly even game throughout, with Devon (Sharif University of Technology) coming out victorious!

Neogene team (Sultan Qaboos University) took the second place and Paleogene team (University of Lagos) come at the third place.
