Spring PetroCup Demo

PetroCup Demo 3-shot session took place at 11:00 Indonesian time(12:00 Malaysian time) and it marked the beginning of the spring international series of PetroCup sessions.

The session was moderated by Nafta College Team (Vladimir Krichevsky and Svetlana Badurtdinova)

Three teams from South-East Asia region took part in PetroCup Demo:

• PT Geodwipa Teknika Nusantara, team “Trias” (Indonesia).
• Indogeo Social Entreprise, team “Devon” (Indonesia).
• Sofoil SEA, team “Carbon” (Malaysia).

Every team member was given a timetable of the current session and a tutorial on how to use PetroCup interface. Vladimir Krichevsky gave a great informative briefing for all teams online.

Teams led their discussions online from different countries and for means of effective communication we have created distinct chats for groups where we saw broad range of ideas and active discussions like for instance deciding which well to drill. This form of communication did not cause any inconvenience for the teams.

Team “Сarbon” has won the tournament in hard and intense competition, and we heartily congratulated team leader Guruh Ferdyanto and the rest of his team.

All team members highly appreciated the PetroCup Demo features and expressed a unanimous opinion on the need to hold such events.
