Tournament

PetroCup Tournament is a team competition on the innovative interactive PetroCup simulator. During the Tournament, participants develop a digital asset twin of an oil and gas field based on real data from the Nafta College library. Teams work through the simulator's web interface, making decisions on workovers and aiming to maximize the asset's profit over the allotted period. The Tournament format offers a unique opportunity to virtually step into the role of an oil and gas asset manager and test the team's expertise, as well as sharpen personal skills and competencies.

The Tournament is divided into stages — "Shots", each of which simulates one year of digital asset twin development.

Team results are entered into the Tournament standings to track progress. After each Shot, the standings are updated in real time. Each team's strategy details are strictly confidential and are disclosed only at the Debriefing after the Tournament ends.
